Sandwich with Humus

Ingredients for 4 people:

  • 1 tin chickpeas (500 gr.)
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • The juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt
  • 9 tablespoons tahin (sesame paste)
  • 170 ml water

For the finish (quantity of vegetables free of choice):

  • Sweet paprika Powder
  • Cumin
  • Dish of olive oil
  • Finely carved diced tomato
  • Finely sliced cucumber
  • Finely sliced pickles
  • Red onion cut into rings
  • Single mint leaves
  • Garden cress

TIP: The amount of vegetables depends on the size of the bread.

Prepare:

  1. Rinse the peas under cold water.
  2. Mix the peas together with the garlic, salt, water, tahin and the lemon juice.
  3. Spread nicely on a bun and finish with paprika and cumin, olive oil and then the rest of the vegetables.

TIP: You can also serve it as a snack on small slice of bread, start with humus, cumin, paprika, drizzle of olive oil and according to the rest of the vegetables.
