Pita bread

Ingredients:

  •  500 gr. sieved flour
  •  270 gr. lukewarm milk
  •  135  ml. water
  •  135 gr. sunflower oil
  •  1 teaspoon salt
  •  ½ coffee spoon prunus mahalab
  •  5 eat spoons of sugar

Prepare:

  1. Mix all dry ingredients together.
  2.  Add the oil, water, and milk to it.
  3.  Knead the dough for 5 min.
  4.  Let the dough rest 20 min.
  5.  Divide it into balls of 50 gr.
  6.  Roll the balls open in 1 cm thickness using a rolling pin.
  7.  Bake the bread in a warm anti-stick pan.
  8.  When bubbles start to come up quickly turn the bread around and bake the other side.
