Fresh garden beans with yogurt
Ingredients for 3 to 4 persons:
- 1 kg. fresh garden beans
- 2 cloves garlic
- 20 gr. vegetable butter
- 130 gr. tomato paste
- 1 l. water
- Pepper & Salt
Ingredient for the yogurt sauce:
- 100 gr. yogurt
- 1/4 clove garlic
- Salt
Ingredients for the thaine sauce:
- 60 gr. thaine
- 1/4 clove garlic
- Salt
Prepare:
- Remove the hard fibers from the sides of the garden beans with a knife.
- Wash the garden beans and cut into pieces of 2 cm. long.
- Heat the butter in a boiling pot, press the garlic and fry briefly.
- Pat the beans dry and add them to the garlic, stir fry until the bean have a brown crust.
- Season with pepper and salt, add the tomato paste and stir until the paste is mixed well.
- Add 1 l. boiling water and let it 35 min. cooking on soft fire.
- Bring to taste with a little pepper and salt as it is needed.
Make the sauce:
- Whisk the yogurt or the thaine loose with the beater in a bowl.
- Press the 1/4 clove garlic and add them to it.
- Bring to taste with salt.
Serve: In a bowl and finish with the yogurt or thaine sauce.
